Managing Partner
Vijay leads all aspects of the multifamily operations and syndication cycle, focusing on capital raising, investor relations, deal sourcing, and asset management.
Vijay has 8+ years of commercial real estate experience. With the use of conservative underwriting techniques, in-house property management, and in-depth local market knowledge, Vijay Avaiya and its partners specialize in multifamily real estate assets in the booming DFW, Sherman and Waco markets that offer good risk-adjusted returns.
The success of the business’s multifamily investments is fueled by Vijay’s specialization in deal sourcing, executing high-quality business plans, asset management and IT solutions.
Our Story
Vijay Avaiya began his career in the competitive Dallas – Fort Worth real estate market where he joint ventured to purchase and operate a single-tenant medical office building. That first deal sparked a new vision: one where real estate could provide financial freedom and generational wealth.
Through reading, listening to podcasts, attending workshops, and networking with successful entrepreneurs, Vijay realized that being resourceful was the best path to success despite having minimal resources.
With this understanding, Vijay dove deeper—first as a passive investor, then as a co-GP, and eventually taking on end-to-end responsibilities in multifamily acquisitions, operations, and syndication. With each deal, Vijay sharpened his instincts and deepened his expertise—especially in working-class, value-add communities.
Avaiya Equity Partners was born from a mission to create freedom—not just financial freedom, but freedom of time, choice, and purpose.
